Judith “Judy” A. Kupsik, 73, of Niles, passed away peacefully at her home in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 18, 2015, with her family at her bedside.

Judy was born on Jan. 16, 1942, to the late Carl and Blanche Young in Chicago, Illinois. After high school Judy wed Wallace Kupsik and the two had seven wonderful children. Judy’s greatest joy in life was raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Dale Young, Jean Winfrey, and Larey Young; and two grandchildren Danny and Carl Kupsik.

Judy is survived by her husband Wallace”Wally” Kupsik, of Niles; children, Wallace “Wally” Kupsik of Orlando, Florida, Michael “Mike” (Dawn) Kupsik of Hudson, Florida, Julie (Ron) Wedster of Alsip, Illinois, Laura (Steve) Rogers of Niles, Christina “Chris” Kupsik of Niles, Debra “Debbie” Kupsik of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Robert “Rob” Kupsik of Crestwood, Illinois; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren with one more on the way; brothers, Don, Gary, Carl, Bob and Ted Young, all of Illinois and sisters Joyce Taylor, of Tennessee and Joan Mech and Fran Tracy, both of Illinois.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015, at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel from 6 until 9:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Niles at 11 a.m.
