Marietta L. Pullins, 77, of Dowagiac, Michigan, passed away, Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. Celebration of Life Services will be held noon Saturday, Jan. 31 at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, with Pastor Justin Shepard officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:30 a.m. until noon Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Michiana Church of Christ Building Fund in Dowagiac. Marietta was born Feb. 22, 1937 in Silver Creek Township to Frederick & Lois (Dobson) Stockwell. She graduated from Dowagiac High School in 1955. On Oct. 20, 1956, she married Richard Pullins in Dowagiac. Marietta devoted her life to caring for her family. She was a member of Michiana Church of Christ in Dowagiac. Marietta enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking-especially cherry pies, the beauty of nature and the outdoors, bird watching, puzzles, reading and staying current on Facebook. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her family-especially her grandchildren and riding motorcycles and flying remote control airplanes with her husband Richard.

Marietta is survived by her husband Richard; her children-Sherri (Bill) Gray of Mattawan, Kris (Shari) Pullins, Michelle (Paul) Cross, Lettie (Bill) Oliver, all of Dowagiac; and several loving, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Lois Stockwell, her step-mother Irene Wickens Stockwell, an infant brother and an infant daughter-Mary Elizabeth Pullins.
