Dorothy June Borowski, 93, of New Berlin, Wisconsin, formerly of Dowagiac, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014 at her residence in Wisconsin.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, from 1 p.m. until the time for a Celebration of Life service at 3 p.m. at Clark Chapel and Cremation Services, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, Michigan.

Dorothy was born June 24, 1921, in Dowagiac, Michigan to her parents Andrew and Margret (Jasinski) Ptasziewice. She married Frank Borowski, the love of her life, at St Mary of Perpetual Help in Chicago, Illinois. She worked for Sears Roebuck as a data entry clerk for many years.

She enjoyed traveling, reading and loved to sun bath and get a great tan. There were many times she would go window shopping with her son, especially in the windy city. When it came to professional sports you could find her watching wrestling matches on TV.

She is survived by son Dan Borowski; two granddaughter, Jamie Su Borowski and Jessica Johnston; two great grandchildren, Madeline and Colin; and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her siblings Margret, Helen, Angela, Stephanie, Josephine, Ann, Steven, Thomas, and Joseph.
