Donnabelle “Donna” L. Shaffer, 82, of Niles, passed away at Lakeland Hospital in Niles on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014.
Donna was born on Sept. 5, 1931 in Niles. She graduated from Niles High School and went on to work at Bendix, where she met Eldon Shaffer. The two wed and had three sons. Donna was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed watching her sons play sports through the years. She loved animals, especially her dog Penney.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Eldon Shaffer. Donna is survived by her children Jack (Becky) Shaffer of Niles, Terry (Felicia) Shaffer of Paris, Illinois and Patrick Shaffer of Niles’ three step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson.
Donna has been cremated and her family will be remembering her privately.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Niles.
