Dale Battles, 75, of Cassopolis, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014 at home with his family by his side.

Dale Battles was born on May 4, 1939 in Glenwood, Michigan to Delbert and Rhoda (Coats) Battles.

Upon graduating High School Dale joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country. After his years in service he became a police officer for the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Jack Glover and sister Jean.

Dale is survived by his son Jason Battles of New Port Beach, California, daughter Lisa (Randy) Plotts of Otsego, Michigan, two grandsons, Reece Plotts, Connor Plotts, and companion, friend of many years, Beverly Guntle of Cassopolis.

In keeping with Dale’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
