Evelyn K. (Hamp) (Crocker) Sanchez, 80, of Niles, passed away at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Michael Crocker.

Evelyn is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jose “Joe” Sanchez of Niles; sons, James (Linda) Crocker of Niles, William (Barb) Crocker of South Bend, Craig (Mindy) Crocker of Buchanan and Kevin (Linda) Crocker of Niles; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters.

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home in Niles from 12 to 2 p.m. with funeral services to honor Evelyn’s life beginning at 2 p.m.
