Larry L. Linville, of Niles

Larry L. Linville passed away in Michigan on July 12, 2013, surrounded by family. Larry grew up in Niles, Mich.

He received a Bachelors of Business Administration at Western Michigan University and a Masters of Business Administration from Michigan State University. He served his country in the U.S. Army for three years as an officer. He worked in Management Information Systems until he retired three years ago. Larry was married to Carol (Falkenstein) for 48 years.

He was a long time member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. He enjoyed fishing and tennis. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Jean Linville, brothers Terry Linville and Tim Linville, and son-in-law Mike Woods. He is survived by his wife, Carol, daughters Tami Woods and Paula (Christian) Cherniak, five grand children, Charlie, Sam, Avery, Calli and Sidney, and brother Kim (Paula) Linville. A memorial service will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 5110 Franklin Road, Nashville, Tennessee, at 2 p.m. on July 18, 2013.  The family requests any donations in memory of Larry be given to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
