Norma Jean Pollock, 80, of Niles, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at her home with her family by her side.

Norma Pollock was born on April 3, 1933, in Niles to the late John and Orvilla (Haack) Riley.

She was a graduate of Niles High School, where she participated in gymnastics and band.

Later in life, she became a professional dog groomer and owned her own business for many years.

She married Earl Pollock in 1954.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers, Don Riley, John Riley, Harold Riley and Robert Riley; and two sisters, June Werntz and Beverly Andrewjewski.

She is survived by four sons, Brent (Greta) Pollock, of Cassopolis, Guy Pollock, of Niles, Ward Pollock, of Niles and Wade Pollock, of Chicago; two daughters, Valorie Schliewe, of Buchanan, and Joni Webster, of Niles; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Norma enjoyed gardening, sewing and enjoyed doing jigsaws.   She really enjoyed spending time with her toy poodle.
