There is no shortage of places to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this year in Michiana.
From events fit for children, to parties tailored toward adults, there is something to satisfy all Irish appetites this weekend.
The largest concentration of St. Patrick’s Day events can be found in South Bend, Ind., but there are other places to celebrate throughout southwestern Michigan as well.
Below is a list of St. Patrick’s Day events:

Friday
What: South Bend’s Official St. Paddy’s Tent Party
& Pub Tour
Where: Downtown South Bend, Ind.
When: 5 to 11 p.m.
Admissions to the annual tent party is $5 and includes access to the popular pub tour free of charge. Upgrading to the Green Room Experience will cost an extra $5. The tent party will be held in the parking lot between Wayne Street and Western Avenue in downtown South Bend. Performances by Stillshot, The Bergamot, The Moxie Strings, DJ Eric Street, Brickhouse Burlesque and Partymouth. There will also be a pub tour featuring free trolley rides to 15 participating pubs from 5:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. You must be 21 years or older to attend. The event is being put on by Downtown South Bend Inc.

Saturday
What: Gaelic Mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church
Where: 309 S. Taylor St., South Bend
When: 9 a.m.
Hosted by the Ancient Order of Hibernians
and St. Patrick Church

What: Little Leprechaun Contest
Where: Howard Park, South Bend
When: 10:30 a.m.
It is a contest for boys and girls ages 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 sponsored by the South Bend Parks and Recreation Department.

What: 15th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Where: East Jefferson and Eddy Street,
South Bend, Ind.
When: 11 a.m.
The parade is sponsored by the Michiana Celtic Society, South Bend Parks and Recreation and Downtown South Bend. After the parade, the city’s East Race will be colored green at Seitz Park.

What: Live Music at Fiddler’s Hearth Public House
Where: 127 N. Main St., downtown South Bend
When: 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.

What: After parade celebration
Where: St. Patrick Parish Center, 308 S. Scott St.,
South Bend
When: 1 to 6 p.m.
Irish music and Celtic dancers, family friendly. $10 corned beef and cabbage dinner, cash bar.

What: Tent Party and Pub Tour
Where: 350 S. Michigan St., South Bend
When: 5 to 11 p.m.
Tent party featuring drinks, food and music.

What: St. Patrick’s Day Party
Where: Bell Building, 305 Sycamore, Niles
When: 6 p.m.
Hosted by the South County Democratic Club with live music by the Van Dyke Revue. Tickets, which include dinner and dancing, are $20 singles and $30 couples.

Sunday
What: Green-themed costume contest
Where: Hard Rock Cafe Four Winds, New Buffalo
When: 8 p.m.
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a green-themed costume contest with registration beginning at 8 p.m. Cost is $5.
