Cass County man tied up, robbed at home

A Cass County man was tied up and robbed Monday night during a home invasion by several robbers, the Cass County Sheriff’s Department is reporting.

The robbery occurred at 9:40 p.m. in the 60000 block of White Temple Rd. in Penn Township north of Vandalia.

The victim reported walking in on two suspects during a home invasion. One of the suspects pointed a gun at the victim and tied him up at the scene. A number of items were stolen. The victim described the suspects as two black males in their late teens to early 20s. During the investigation, it appears three suspects were involved in the commission of this crime.

The victim was not injured.
