Evelyn Ley, 94, of Niles, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 at Brentwood Assisted Living in Niles.

Evelyn was born on Dec. 28, 1917 in Grand Rapids to the late Frank and Rosella (Ludlow) Ley.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert Ley and Arthur Ley.

Evelyn was a member of the Teamsters, had a gambling heart, enjoyed walking around the Niles area and was an avid swimmer at the YMCA in Niles.

Graveside services will be on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens; 61453 M-51 N., Niles, Mich.

Memorial contributions may be made in Evelyn’s memory to the Niles YMCA Aquatic Program; 905 Front St.; Niles, Mich.
