Cora A. (nee Walden) Foster, 86, passed away Tuesday morning, Nov. 13, 2012 at Bronson Nursing and Rehab Center in Lawton.  She was born Sept. 25, 1926 in Cassopolis, Mich., the daughter of the late Clarence and Elvira (Lawson) Walden.

She was employed by the Van Buren County Transit retiring in 1990.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur and enjoyed crocheting and reading.  On April 18, 1952 in Hartford, Cora was united in marriage to Robert Lee Foster who preceded her in death on May 18, 1983.  She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Foster; son, Willard Jeffries and a sister, Frances Jeffries.

Surviving are two daughters, Diane Foster of Decatur and Jean (Jeff) Decker of Schoolcraft; two grandsons, Alan (Joy) Jeffries of Allegan and Willard (Sonnia) Jeffries Jr. of Constantine; four granddaughters, Cindy Jeffries of TN, Candy (Raymond) Rhodes of Dowagiac, Jessica Decker and Jasmin Decker of Kalamazoo; eight great grandchildren; three brothers, Kenneth Walden of Lawton, David (Carol) Walden of Marcellus and Charles (Gail) Walden of Virginia Beach, Va.; nieces, nephews, cousins; special friend Lisa Bonarski.

Family will receive friends Saturday, Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw, where services will be held following visitation at 2 p.m. with Pastor Carl Wright and Mr. James Abshagen officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, Decatur.  Share a memory or sign the guest book at: www.adamspawpaw.com
