I just Googled military service and Mitt Romney.

He has five generations that have all eluded military service. He got a deferment by enrolling at Brigham Young University and all his sons escaped service in Iraq and/or Afghanistan. His father, grandfather and great-grandfather never served, either. I’m guessing there are very few families in this country who do not have ANY ancestors who served in WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq or Afghanistan.

So now we have a candidate who not only avoids supporting this country monetarily by hiding his money in Swiss bank accounts and the Cayman Islands, but whose family has never supported this country with military service.  How could we even imagine a candidate like this? How could he be such a HAWK, wanting so much more tax money for the military? How could he in good conscience send other people’s children to war when he has no family history of military service?  And, how could we possibly respect him as Commander in Chief?
