Patricia A. Fisher, 69, of Elkhart, went to be with her Lord on Oct. 13, 2012, while at East Lake Nursing facility after a prolonged battle with heart and lung disease.

She was born March 24, 1943, to George and Virginia McKibbin in Niles. She married Dudley Fisher in Edwardsburg on March 24, 1968. He survives along with a son, Andrew (Elizabeth) Fisher of Naples, Fla.; daughter, Angela (John) Byron of Corinth, N.Y.; two grandsons, Drew Fisher and Titus Byron; and a granddaughter, Adilynn Byron. She is also survived by two sisters, Anita Loomis and Jane Wright, both of Edwardsburg; and a brother, Ronald McKibbin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Gale Georgeann Barnhart; and a sister, Suzanne Pendill.

Pat was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Pat had a generous spirit and willingness to do for others.

Cremation will be handled by Elkhart Cremation Services. Any memorials should be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined by the family.
