Betty Sue Dickinson, 68, of Buchanan, died at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, of natural causes.

She was born July 13, 1944, in Truman, Ark. She lived in this area for 56 years. She operated a caregiving facility in Buchanan and was a member of Portage Road General Baptist Church.

She married James Dickinson on April 18, 1964, in Dayton. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2002.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, James and Arinda Jones.

She is survived by her son, Keith Dickinson, of Buchanan; daughter, Kimberly (Pat) Dickinson-Fellows, of Buchanan; sisters, Earlene Henson, of New Buffalo, Pauline Axton, of Canton, Mo., and Imogene Heminger, of Buchanan; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan with Pastor John Schindler officiating.

Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Buchanan.
