Rosaline Joyce Lechlitner, 87, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, in The Center for Hospice Care in South Bend.

Rosaline was born on June 24, 1925, in Benton Harbor. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jim Hixenbaugh; her husbands, James Hixenbaugh and Merl Lechlitner.

Surviving are three sons, John Hixenbaugh of New Orleans, La., Joseph Hixenbaugh of Florida and Jules Hixenbaugh of Niles.

Rosaline worked in the clerical department for the South Bend Tribune for eight years. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in South Bend. She was a kind and caring woman.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 8, from noon to 2 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. Eighth St., Mishawaka. Funeral services will follow the visitation, in the funeral home with Rev. Kenneth Peterson of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church officiating.
