Wanda “Bonnie” Stainbrook, 81, of Niles, formerly of South Bend, passed away at 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012, in Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation.
Bonnie was born on July 25, 1930, in Jasonville, Ind., to John A. and Ina Ethel (Reed) Burris.
She is survived by a son, Marc (Sylvia) Tjaden, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a granddaughter, Laurie (Mark) Brumbaugh, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and a great-grandson, Paul Brumbaugh; two brothers, John (Tharon) Burris, of Jasonville, and Bill (Carmen) Burris, of Fort Branch, Ind.; and her special friend, William Bailey, of Plymouth, Ind.
Bonnie was the owner and operator of Enchanted Cottage Bridal Shop and executive director for the Niles YMCA.
Memorial services will be Saturday, July 28, at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, where there will also be visitation from noon to 2 p.m.
The Rev. Raymond E. Fulbright will officiate the services.
