Ruth Palmer Warner, 90, of Shelbyville, Ky., passed away Friday June 1, 2012, at the Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville.

She was born on March 13, 1922, the daughter of the late Harry and Belle (Secor) Palmer of Dowagiac.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Warner (1994), and a brother, Harry “Hal” Palmer.

Ruth, a resident of South Bend for many years and a devoted mother and grandmother, is survived by a daughter, Ruth Anne (Ken) Horton, of Kentucky; granddaughter, Michelle (Scott) Gilpin; and grandsons, McCollough, Lucas and Dylan, of Texas.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
