Paul D. Yeager, 74, of Dowagiac, died Monday, April 30, 2012, in his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born Aug. 2, 1937, in Buchanan, to William and Lena (Clark) Yeager. He married Rosemary Squires on Dec. 13, 1955. She preceded him in death in 1996. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded by two sons, Donald Yeager and John Yeager; four brothers, Eugene Yeager, Joseph Yeager, James Yeager and John Yeager; and two sisters and three brothers who died in childhood.
Paul is survived by four daughters, Marie Brady of Summerville, Ga., Debbie (Jake) Hurrle of Dowagiac, Gladys (James) James of Hugoton, Kan., Paula (John) Means of Dowagiac; one son, Randall (Cathy) Yeager of Elkhart; and 13 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Carl (Connie) Yeager of Dowagiac and Bobby (Verla) Yeager of Edwardsburg.
Family and friends gathered Friday, May 4, from 2 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 N. Broadway St., Cassopolis, with the Pastor Steve Witzki officiating. Mr. Yeager was laid to rest beside his beloved wife in South Wayne Cemetery, Wayne Township.
