Frank E. Larson, 94, Cassopolis, died Saturday, April 21, 2012, in his residence.
He was born in St. Joseph on Oct. 31, 1917, to Edward and Edith (Behnke) Larson. He married Beulah Valley in 1937. She preceded him in death in 1971. He then married Audrey Jayne (Inman) McDonald in 1972. She also preceded him in death in 1990.
He was also preceded by one sister, four brothers and one great-grandson.
Frank was a 33rd degree Mason and member of the Elks. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and playing golf.
He is survived by two sons, Tom Larson of Phoenix, Ariz., and Ron Larson of Cassopolis; one daughter, Linda (William) Kelly of Cassopolis; and one stepdaughter, Jayne (fiance Rob Vance) McDonald of St. Joseph; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather Friday, April 27, at 11 a.m. for a time of remembrance and sharing at Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 N. Broadway St., Cassopolis. Mr. Larson’s remains will be laid to rest beside both of his late wives. The family prefers memorial contributions to Vasa Lodge Linne 153, c/o12146 Avon St., Granger, IN 46530.
