The City of Niles has rescheduled a public hearing and special meeting of the city council regarding reallocation of federal Community Development Block Grant funds from April 2 to April 9.

The city is proposing to allocate unused CDBG funds from 2010 and 2011 to a $100,000 sidewalk project that will make intersections handicap accessible and bring them into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The meeting begins at 5:45 p.m. Monday in the Niles City Council Chambers, 1345 E. Main St.
