Barbara E. Burger, 74, of Edwards, Ill. passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 11:45 a.m. at her home.

She was born Dec. 5, 1936 to Lewis and Winifred Miller Brown. She married Paul Burger in Niles on June 8, 1956. He passed away Feb. 8, 2008.
Barbara worked for many years as a Realtor for Traders Realty in Peoria and the surrounding area.
She is survived by two sons, Brian Burger of Edwards, Ill. and Brad (Irma) Burger of Pelion, S.C.; a sister, Connie (Victor) Keigley of South Bend, Ind.; and three grandchildren, Michael, Crystal and Cenedra, all of Pelion, S.C.
Graveside services were Tuesday, March 22 at 1 p.m. at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation Services, Peoria, was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Methodist Hospice in Peoria, in care of Barbara Burger.
