Harold Conrad Haman, 78, of Niles, died at 4:20 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles of natural causes.

He was born July 10, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was a lifelong area resident.
Harold was a U.S. Army veteran and worked at Sullair as a researcher and developer.
He married Lois (Crowton) Haman on Dec. 30, 1955 in Berrien Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; sons, Curt Haman of Buchanan and Jeffrey Haman of North Carolina; brother, Jon Haman of Harbert, Mich.; two grandchildren, Kristen and Ryan; and one great-grandchild, Jada.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Virginia Haman, and a brother, Donald Kent Haman.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Buchanan.
