CASSOPOLIS — Marjorie A. Lamb, 71, died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at her residence in Cassopolis.

She was born March 20, 1939, in Edwardsburg to Wilbur and Doris (Shaner) Harkins, who preceded her in death.

Marjorie loved everything outdoors, especially the animals.

She was an avid Michigan fan.

Her family was everything to her. She was crazy about her nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She is survived by: two sisters, Alene (Dale) Hartsell of Cassopolis and Donna Wilson of Dowagiac; one brother, Howard Harkins of Okeechobee, Fla.; one niece, Debra (Ed) Frizzell of Caledonia; and three nephews, Craig (Debbie) Hartsell, Keith (Karen) Hartsell and Jerry (Eileen) Toney, all of Cassopolis; along with many great-nieces and great-nephews and her rat terrier, Snookie.

The family wishes to acknowledge the special friendship of Reed and Theresa Carlton of Cassopolis.

Family and friends gathered Monday, Oct. 11, 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Pleasant View Church of Christ, 60550 Crooked Creek Road, (corner of M-60) Cassopolis.

The Rev. Larry Settle, pastor emeritus, officiated.

Interment followed at Prairie Grove Cemetery, Cassopolis.
