NILES — Lawanda Gates, 94, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.

Lawanda was employed for more than 28 years in the field of physical therapy.

In keeping with Lawanda’s wishes there will be no public service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Niles, and North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma.
