Evelyn Joyce (Polfus) LaVanway, 77, of John Beers Road in Stevensville, passed away at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph Monday, Aug. 30, 2010.

A memorial service to honor Evelyn’s life will be held at North Shore Memory Gardens on Saturday, Sept. 4 at 11 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made in Evelyn’s memory to Grace Lutheran Church located at 404 East Glenlord Road in St. Joseph.
