Beverly R. (Oler) Collins, 75, of Niles, passed away peacefully Monday, Aug. 23, 2010 at her residence.

She was born to the late Lewis E. Oler and Rose M. (Keller) Oler-Shippy in South Bend, Ind.

Beverly graduated from Riley High School in South Bend, Class of 1954. On Nov. 27, 1953 she married Carl R. Collins.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Larry Oler.

She is survived by her husband, Carl R. Collins of Niles; a daughter, Donna Collins of South Bend; three sons, Gary (Paula) Collins, Kenneth Collins and Larry Collins all of Niles; a granddaughter, Julie Collins of Niles; two step-grandchildren, Lisa Moore of Niles and Michael (Jacqueline) Moore of South Bend; a brother, Robert “Bob” Oler of Reseda, Calif.; two sisters, Jackie Oler-Morningstar of Manchester Center, Vt. and Marti Jensen of Sawyer, Mich.; a stepsister, Shirley Beasley of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; and three great-granddaughters, Madelynn, Alyssa and Olivia.

In keeping with Beverly’s wishes a private family interment was held Wednesday morning at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger, Ind.

The family has requested no flowers be sent and all memorial contributions may be made in Beverly’s memory to Hospice at Home, Inc. 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085.
