NILES – Betty Jane Bland, 61, of Coloma, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Country Side Nursing Home in South Haven.

Betty graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1966 and worked for the Michigan Family Independence Agency in Niles as a communications clerk. Betty retired from FIA in 1998 after 30 years of service.

Funeral services to honor Betty’s life will be Friday, June 18, at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma at noon.

Those wishing to make memorial donations may do so in Betty’s name to Twelve Corners Community Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Niles and North Shore Memory Gardens of Coloma.
