Amos Croom died Monday, May 24, 2010 in Monrovia, Calif. in a nursing home.

He was born to Matt Croom and Lucie Brandon Croom.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; stepmother, Assie Croom; a brother, Oscar; a sister, Nancy; a daughter, Carla; and a grandon, Amos Croom III.

He is survived by three daughters, Evelyn Deloris, of Monroe, La., Connie, of Grand Rapids and Cindy Croom, of Berrien Center; a son, Amos Jr., of Elkhart; four sisters, Essie Mae Moore, of Dumas, Ark., Icie Lee Spencer, of Oakland, Calif., Betty Wilson, of Kansas City, Mo. and Edith Vassell, of Dumas, Ark.; three brothers, Matt Croom Jr., of Berrien Center, Ben Croom, of Niles and Julius Croom, of Dumas, Ark.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 29 in Monrovia, Calif.
