Annie Sirovica, 92 / March 18, 1918 – May 10, 2010

Annie Sirovica, 92, of North Front Street, Niles, formerly of Cassopolis, passed away Monday, May 10, 2010 in her home after an extended illness.

She was born March 18, 1918 in Chicago to the late Stephen and Anna (Klobucar) Sirovica.
Annie was a retired hand folder at Simplicity Pattern Co. in Niles, where she worked for more than 39 years. She was a member of St. Ann. Catholic Church, Cassopolis.

She is survived by one sister, Helen Leach, of Apache Junction, Ariz.; 11 nieces and nephews, Patricia Peterson, Steve Sirovica, Stephanie Hessey, Scott Sirovica, Steve Leach, Carlene Hanson, John Sirovica, Mike Sirovica, Mark Sirovica, Elaine Sirovica and Tom Bybee; and many great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Verne Bybee; and three brothers, Albert Sirovica, Victor Sirovica and Steve Sirovica.

A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Cassopolis. Officiating will be Fr. Donald G. Potts, pastor. Internment will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Cassopolis at a later date.

Memorial may be made to Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085.
