NILES – Former Pokagon Township supervisor John E. True, 55, of Niles, passed away at his residence on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, following an extended illness.

John graduated from Niles High School and served his country in the U.S. Army. He most recently was a bus driver for Niles Public Schools.

In keeping with John’s wishes, there will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Mike Cheney officiating.

A friends and family gathering will be held at Pokagon Fire Department at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23.

Memorial contributions can be made in John’s memory to his family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Niles.#
