NILES – Rick M. Guerin, 64, of Niles, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010.

Rick served his country proudly during Korea with the U.S. Army.

He spent most of his working career as a food service director, working at Grayling Hospital for five years and then employed for 19 years at Niles Pawating Hospital.
He currently worked in maintenance at St. Mark Catholic Church in Niles.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 5, at Brown Funeral Home in Niles from 4 to 8 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Jan. 6, at 11 a.m.

In keeping with Rick’s wishes, memorial contributions may be made to the local food pantry at Christian Service Center of Niles, 322 Clay St., Niles, MI 49120.
