The Niles Ring Lardner seventh grade Gold boys’ basketball team improved to 5-4 with a 38-33 victory over St. Joe Upton on Thursday.

Kyle Solloway led the Vikings with 16 points and three assists, while Mason Finley had seven points and seven rebounds.

Jeremy Wortham finished with five points and three teals, while Kale Pollard added five rebounds and five steals.

Nick Knoll finished with four assists and three steals.
