Joyce Marie Belchak, 63, of Elkhart Road in Edwardsburg, died at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009 at her home of an apparent heart attack.

She was born March 9, 1946 in Omer, Mich. to Ernest Bauer and Marie Derusha. She moved to Edwardsburg 18 years ago from Elkhart. She was a bookkeeper for R.V. Industry and recently at Bison Motor Coach, of Milford, Ind. She was divorced.

Joyce was a member of the Women of the Mose, Elkhart Lodge; a nine-year member of ABATE, of Elkhart; and an avid bingo player.

She is survived by a daughter, Joanne (Denny) Lorenz, of Goshen, Ind.; mother, Marie Bauer, of Standish, Mich.; three grandchildren; a brotheer, Robert (Terry) Bauer, of Pinconning, Mich; and sister-in-law, Paulette Bauer, of Pinconning, Mich.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Belchak; brothers, Grant Bauer and Neal Bauer; and sister-in-law, Carol Bauer.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 at Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Gering, of Sugar Grove Church, Goshen, Ind., officiating. Cremation will follow services.
