There will be a graveside memorial service for Bernard W. Parsons, 84, on Saturday at 10 a.m., Oct. 24, 2009 in Adamsville Cemetery, with rites given by United States Navy Honor Guard and the local VFW and American Legion.

Bernie died July 28, 2009 at his home after an illness. He was born Aug. 19, 1924 and was the Charter Commander of the local VFW post. Arrangements are under the direction of Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg.
