Faye Geanette Wilder, 71, of South Bend, Ind., passed away Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, at 4:56 p.m. at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, following an illness.

She was born Aug. 4, 1938, in Delphi, La., to Archie and Lessie (Brister) McKaskle, who both preceded her in death.
On Aug. 1, 1953, in South Bend, she married James W. Wilder. He died Feb. 4, 2006.
She is survived by: her eight children, James Wilder, Lloyd (Maria) Wilder, Danny Wilder, David (Angel ) Wilder, Lori Wilder, Pamela (Craig) Johnson and Charlotte Wilder, all of South Bend, and Rosalie (Al) Zimmerman of Edwardsburg; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jean Arnold of Traverse City, Julie Robbins of Niles and Thelma DeRossi of New Buffalo; and one brother, Cletus McKaskle of Pahrump, Nevada.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jackie Ann McKaskle and Lucille Grissom, and a brother, Billy McKaskle.

Mrs. Wilder was a landscaper and a homemaker.

Friends will be received at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today, Oct. 5, and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
Burial will follow the services Tuesday at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Pam Johnson to defray expenses.
