Derrick Lamar Rushing, 19, of South Fifth Street, Niles, died at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at Mt. Zion Cathedral of Praise Church of God in Christ, Buchanan, with the Rev. Calvin White, of Morning Star Church of God in Christ, Benton Harbor, officiating.

Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Berrien Township.

Friends may call one hour before services at the church.

Memorial donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc. or the National Kidney Foundation.
