OSCEOLA, Ind. – Marvin Eugene Peterson, 86, of Elkhart, Ind., formerly of Dowagiac, died of natural causes at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Wakarusa, Ind.

Mr. Peterson worked for Frank Gonzalez in the office for 25 years. He was an administrator for several years for the Evangelistic Association.

The U.S. Army World War II veteran was married in Dowagiac on March 22, 1947, to Catherine Stanton, who survives.

Services are at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at Grace Brethren Church, 58343 Apple Road, Osceola.

Visitation will be an hour before services, from 10 to 11, at the church.

Burial will be in Mission Hills Memorial Chapel Cemetery, Niles.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, Osceola, is assisting the family with arrangements.
