Michigan Grape Society hosts wine workshop

Michigan wines are receiving increased national attention, and wines from southwest Michigan are among the best the state has to offer.

Whether a professional in the wine industry or a wine aficionado, don’t miss this opportunity to taste Southwest Michigan wines from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 7 at Lake Michigan College Mendel Center, 2755 E. Napier Ave., Benton Harbor. The Michigan Grape Society is the sponsor.

A panel of experts will guide tastings of wines from the Lake Michigan Shore Appellation, along with world-class examples of wine styles from other wine regions similar to Southwest Michigan wines.

Registration is $75 per person by Feb. 3 and $90 per person for paid registrations after that date.

Registration includes a catered lunch.

For more information, contact Diane Miner at (269) 944-1477 ext. 201.
