Niles Service League hosts trivia night

Trivia Night with the Niles Service League will be held Feb. 25 at the Bell Building, 305 N. Third St., Niles. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the game begins at 7 p.m.
The game is simple: Tables of eight give answers in 10 categories with 10 questions each covering everything from sports to music to history and more. The team/table with the highest score wins the grand prize of $200.
There are 24 tables available; early registration recommended. Cost is $100 per table; maximum of eight players per table. Players may bring tailgating snacks. A cash bar with beer, wine, pop and bottled water will be available. Door prizes will be awarded.
Those who bring one nonperishable food item will receive a raffle ticket, up to five.
For more information or reservations, contact Becky Kessler at (269) 591-1246 or Michelle Horvath at (574) 386-9124. Reservations and payment must be received by Feb. 17.
Niles Service League was founded in 1934 by a group of women interested in the welfare of the children in our community. Among the many service projects the organization does each year are assisting with meals on wheels, adopting local families at Christmas, food drives, bell ringing for the Salvation Army, and bloodmobile calls for the Red Cross.
The Niles Service League works with area schools to identify children in need to provide clothes and school supplies for them. They also provide college and vocational scholarships, camperships, and community contributions, as well as help organize the free babysitting clinic for fifth- and sixth-graders at Lakeland Hospital. All the projects and donations the Niles Service League makes are funded by community donations.
