Ring Lardner eighth grade improves to 2-1

The Ring Lardner eighth grade boys basketball team improved to 2-1 with a 48-38 win over Lakeshore Wednesday.

The Vikings were led by Johnny Byee’s 18 points and seven rebounds. Tre’ Gaston added eight points, while Connor Brawley finished with six points and five assists.

Kendall Whitlow had eight points and seven rebounds. Jack Knoll chipped in with three points and four steals.

Niles will travel to St. Joseph on Monday.

Ring Lardner defeated Edwardsburg 51-38 Monday night to pick up its first victory of the season.

Whitelow led the Vikings with 17 points. Bybee added 10 points and Brawley finished with six points and seven assists.

Dalex Nzabakira and Jordan Schatzer both had five points.

Zayne Neumann contributed three points.
