Ring Lardner Junior High School’s “Voices Unlimited” choir, under the direction of Beverly So and accompanied by Conner Stigner, performed seasonal and show time musicals for the Niles-Buchanan Noon Optimist Club on Tuesday.

The eighth-grade choir is made up of 27 students, 18 girls and nine boys. The music was blended with song and dance.

“It’s good to know that music is alive and well in Niles Schools,” said Walt Hornberger, Optimist coordinator. “These students are a tribute to our community.”

The Optimist Club meets every Tuesday for lunch, but will not meet on Dec. 27 due to the holiday season.

The club’s next meeting is Jan. 3 and will include a student demonstration on robotics.
