Ring Lardner track teams enjoying success

It’s been a strange kind of year for the Ring Lardner track teams with canceled meets and practices due to the weather.

But both the boys and girls team remain undefeated and captured first out of 10 teams at its own Bender Relays.

During that meet, the girls 800-meter relay set a new record with a time of 1:56. That team wa smade up of Ashli Bryant, Antonia Palmer, Alexus Preston and Maya Brookins.

Niles also won the St. Joe Upton co-ed relays by 10 points against eight teams.

The Vikings took first place in long jump, hurdles, 800 relay, 400 relay and the Upton sprint relay.

The team will have their final home meet Friday and then they will head to Allegan for an invitational Monday.
