MHSAA Team State: Division 4 quarterfinals complete

BATTLE CREEK — The first of four rounds of state quarterfinal wrestling is in the books at the Kellogg Arena.

Division 4 took to the mat first with eight teams vying for a spot in Saturday’s semifinals.

No. 1-seeded Hudson crushed Clinton 72-6, No. 5 Hesperia defeated No. 4 Carson City-Crystal 44-21, No. 3 Lawton edged Springport 32-27 and No. 2 New Lothrop blew out Norway 67-9.

The Division 1 quarterfinals are currently under way.

No. 1 Davidson is facing Livonia Franklin, No. 4 Grandville is taking on No. 5 Oxford, No. 3 Detroit Catholic Central is wrestling Plymouth and No. 2 Hartland is battling Macomb Dakota.
