Maxine Elizabeth Hutts, 89

Maxine Elizabeth Hutts, 89, of Elkhart, Ind. and formerly of Edwardsburg, passed to her rest on Oct. 17, 2013 in Elkhart.

She was the daughter of Wilbur C. and Mary G. (Janeway) Sprouls, born Oct. 20, 1923 in Veedersburg, Ind.
Maxine was married to Harold L. Hutts and he passed in 2000. While in Edwardsburg, Harold was a carpenter and builder and Maxine kept the books and made the appointments for him. They were members of the Chamber of Commerce.

Surviving is a son, Billy E. (Barbara) Hutts of Elkhart, a daughter-in-law, Carol Ann Hutts of Edwardsburg, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Family who have passed, are her parents, her husband and her son Jerry Dean Hutts in 2012.

Family and friends may gather for a graveside memorial service Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Adamsville Cemetery, Edwardsburg. There is no funeral home visitation.

Arrangements are by the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg.
