Juneteenth Celebration June 20

The Minority Coalition of Cass County will host its annual Juneteenth Celebration June 20.

The Juneteenth Celebration will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Along with a free (donation requested) soul-food dinner consisting of fried chicken, fried fish, green beans, macaroni and cheese, corn bread and desserts, the coalition will feature speaker Craig Clark.

Clark will give a talk about the meaning and history of the celebration of Kwanzaa.

Come early and plan to stay for the speaker. There is a playground out back of the William J. Robinson Community Center 18727 Mt. Zion St., Cassopolis for the children.
