H. Beatrice Frost

H. Beatrice Frost, 87, of Cassopolis (Pokagon), died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 in the Timbers of Cass County, Dowagiac.

She was born Feb. 3, 1925 in Defiance, Ohio to Clark and Eva Pearl (Herron) Sherman. She married Kenneth Frost on June 30, 1966 in Niles. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded by one daughter, Judy Hock; one grandson, Joseph Moore I; one sister, Gloria Worl; and one nephew, Jerry Worl.

Bea was a member of Pokagon United Methodist Church. She was an avid collector of many things. She never met a newspaper she didn’t like.

Bea will be missed by family and friends. She is survived by one daughter, Bonnee (Wayne) Johnson of Marysville, Calif.; one son, Wayne Wilson of Grand Rapids;  four grandchildren, Amanda Johnson and Sarah Johnson, both of Sacramento, Calif.; Robert Hock of South Bend, Ind., Lisa Hock of Michigan City, Ind.; one great-grandson, Joseph Moore II, of Michigan City, Ind.; two great-great-grandchildren, Joseph Moore III, Amanda Moore; two nieces, Daryl Perkins of Kalamazoo, Candy (Ken) Evett of Benton Harbor; and two nephews, Gary (Barb) Worl of Niles and Mark (Maryann) Worl of Watervliet.

Beatrice was laid to rest beside her mother and sister in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Buffalo.

The family prefers memorial contributions to the Old Rugged Cross Foundation, 33053 Crystal Springs Street, Dowagiac, Michigan 49047.
