Chris Taylor leads off DAHM fall lectures

“The Life and Legacy of Olympics Medalist Chris Taylor” by Lynne Lawrence leads off Dowagiac Area History Museum’s fall lecture series Sept. 4.

Oct. 2 brings to the museum at 201 E. Division St. “Gangsters of Berrien County” by Bob Myers of the History Center at Courthouse Square.

The series continues Nov. 6 with “Three Michigan Women in the Civil War” by Christina Hirn Arseneau of the Heritage Museum and Cultural Center.

The topic of the Dec. 4 program remains to be determined. All lectures begin at 6:30 p.m. in the museum’s lower level.

Lectures are free to members, $5 for non-members.
