David F. Kelly, 82

David F. Kelly, 82, late of Orland Park, Ill., was a beloved husband and best friend of 61 years of Joan C. nee Boyle.

He was a devoted father of Patty (Michael) Killackey, David M. (Michelle) Kelly, Peggy (Greg) Wilson, Michael (Beth) Kelly, Kathy (Jeff) Rosinia, Susan Cholewinski, Kim (David Zohrer) Witczak and Kristen (Jeff) Camp and a proud grandfather of Michael, Ryan, Cara, Chris, Jim, Dan, Brian, Steven, Katie, Matt, Alyssa, Michael, Tim, Samantha, Lauren, Kelly, Nick, Jessica, Maggie, Kristina, Kevin, Jake, Tony, Ryan, Ben, Sean and the late David.

He was a soon-to-be great-grandfather of a baby due in September. He was a loving brother of Michael, Joseph, Kitty (John) Green, John (Diane), the late Bart Kelly and Mary (late Patrick) O’Shea.

He was the dearest brother-in-law of Patricia Reed and the late Jackie Perino and a kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was an adored companion of his two pups, Klancy and Ryleigh.

He was the founder of Kelly Plastering Company and Kelly Investments.

Visitation is Wednesday, from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be Thursday, 9 a.m. at Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 14318 S. LaGrange Rd., (9600 W/Rt. 45), Orland Park proceeding to St. Mary Church for a Mokena Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment will be at Good Shepherd Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 11 S. LaSalle St., Suite 1800, Chicago, IL 60603.
