Bucks fall to Benton Harbor 53-42

BENTON HARBOR — Host Benton Harbor outscored Buchanan 22-13 in the fourth quarter to pull out a 52-42 victory against Buchanan in the Class B District title game Friday night.

The Bucks (13-9) led 17-10 after one quarter, but trailed the Tigers (17-6) 24-23 at halftime and 30-29 headed into the final quarter.

Benton Harbor advances to the Comstock Regional Monday where it will face Edwardsburg for the second straight year. The Tigers and Eddies will play the second game of the doubleheader at 8 p.m.

Curtis Dawson led Benton Harbor 18 points, while Jaylin Lee added 10.

Tyler Flynn led the Bucks and all scorers with 19 points. Dustin Grey added 11.
